This is a popular, nicely made target load for the .22 long rifle that is reasonably priced, considering the relative accuracy and the quality control of the brand line. A lead round nosed 40 grain projectile that includes several design features that reduce inconsistencies and a methodology in production that increases the overall consistency of the load.
The rate of failure (which is a thing with rimfire unfortunately) is significantly lessened because of the quality of components that are used in the manufacture of this product. The well finished, clean appearance and tight tolerances combine with very consistent velocities from a perfectly mated powder charge and well carried out, production methodologies. The resulting accuracy is significant. This accuracy can be expected to be well under 1MOA, and in certain guns well under ½ MOA. The clean burning powder, positive ignition and even the size of the package of the offering speak to the specific use case of this load, and the resulting experience while using this load is spectacular.
Of all the manufacturers of rimfire ammunition, Remington has one of the deepest histories of offering top tier rimfire target ammunition; their prowess in the market segment is generally unchallenged.
