This round’s 55 grain polymer tipped bullet is engineered to commence breakneck terminal expansion the very instant it penetrates its target. That’s because the BlitzKing’s proprietary acetyl resin tip rams into the underlying nose cavity where it proceeds to spread the bullet’s core and jacket apart. The BlitzKing also exhibits exceptional rotational stability before it self-destructs, as Sierra draws its jacket to the tightest tolerances they can muster.

]]>This ultra-cheap steel cased .223 Remington ammo from Tula can be used in a wide range of firearms (it’s a fast moving 55 grain projectile); when you need to have a ton of ammunition and can handle the specific aspects of steel cased ammo. Steel ammunition has been a formidable option for most military clone platforms for decades.
It’s important to understand the sweet sot for this load, because steel is not for everyone every time. You’ll know you are a good candidate for shooting steel ammunition if you want savings over super precision. If you can handle using it only in guns where the tolerances aren’t made for match shooting. If you understand that they function best in heavy sprung firearms that have heavy extraction and ejection cycles. If you want to shoot a lot of rounds and don’t mind it being a bit dirtier. If you come to the range with a clean firearm.
You’ll know you probably won’t want to shoot steel cartridges if you are planning on shooting sub MOA at distances; you can’t stand dirtier powders; your chambering, or other tolerances are super tight or you don’t have a very clean gun. You’ll also find it’s not a perfect round for bolt actions if you are someone who doesn’t want to pay attention too much to details while hooting.
For all other times, or for those who have actually shot steel in their AR/AK/Mil/Clones, this stuff is great fun for a good value.

]]>This Hornady .223 ammunition with a boat tail full metal jacket is a straightforward round that should be a contender for your range ammunition especially when you need reliable feeding, and legitimate accuracy in ranges from 50 yards to 100 yards, without having to overpay for the privilege.
A 55 grain projectile works well in a variety barrels but where this cartridge will excel is in bolt action firearms when you’re shooting at short and moderate ranges looking for holes on paper. It is also suitable (where regulations would permit) to hunt with, finding a sweet spot in varmint work up to an including medium predatory animals like coyote.
Hornady offers premium quality control and production consistency that many other competitors cannot match across the board. That means the lower cost lines like this particular load by Hornady, are able to benefit from the same facilities and protocols that the ultra-premium lines do.
Beautiful brass, Boxer priming and above average accuracy equates to a very good choice for the money when consistency, accuracy and quality control mean something and you want to get value pricing for high end ammunition. Suitable for use in all .223 Remington rifles, but particularly well suited to bold guns.

]]>Beautiful, functional .223 ammunition with a great value add of ammo can, cloth bandoleers and stripper clips, this is a fantastic price point for such a high-end ammunition with so many extras. This 55 grain full metal jacket boat tail projectile works well with barrel twist rates of 1:8, 1:9 and 1:10, and can be used in other twist rates with success, just not as accurately. In these three rates you can expect MOA accuracy on this ammunition. For the money, it’s hard to beat the value of this case of .223 Ammo. The proven reliability and spectacular quality of the load makes it an easy choice, but the added bonuses make it a genuine bargain.
The PMC ammunition offers a very high specification for the load and with the reliability and accuracy as well as the reloadable brass (Boxer primer), it makes sense from a financial perspective. A nice velocity of 2900 feet per second and an energy delivery of 1250 at the muzzle means that you are getting great performance from a value price point and the functionality is flawless. This ammunition is packaged for use in magazine fed firearms where the stripper clips will be of added value but the rounds can be shot in any .223 Remington firearm.
